DJANOGLY HALL, MISHKENOT SHA'ANANIM CULTURAL CENTER
Author Dror Mishani and editor and scriptwriter Shira Hadad co-wrote one of the this year’s most talked-about television shows, “A Body that Works” about Ali (Rotem Sela) and Ido (Yehuda Levi), a couple having trouble getting pregnant. After dozens of fertility treatments, they decide to try surrogacy with the young surrogate Chen Ben Attar (Gal Malka). Mishani and Hadad will discuss the different nuances of writing prose and television drama, writing in one or in two voices, and the differences and similarities between characters on paper, on the screen, and in real life.
