What Remains: A Memoir Workshop with Orna Coussin
Tuesday 26.5
19:30–21:30
Fostel Hall
What is the difference between a novel and a memoir? Or: does it even matter whether one invents or stays faithful to facts? These questions preoccupy writer Orna Coussin, if only because she is often required to answer them in her writing workshops, which focus on nonfiction literary genres: memoir, personal essay, portrait, and biography. What is the meaning of personal writing after war or during times of crisis? Is there room for the small personal life story alongside the larger national narrative?
We invite you to a special workshop with Israel’s leading guru of documentary writing. Hurry and register – spaces are limited.
