Noa Susanna Morag is one of the most prominent voices in contemporary literature. Her debut novel, “User Experience,” was published a decade ago and generated significant buzz. Her new book, “Simulated Ending” (Keter), has just been released to immediate critical acclaim. Its protagonist, Air, a 31-year-old woman who moved to Oslo with her partner, returns to Tel Aviv after her marriage falls apart and adopts an almost monastic lifestyle—one that resonates uncannily with the spirit of the times in the late stages of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Shin” (Kinneret Zmora Dvir) is the second book by Daria Shuali, author of the bestseller “Klia Barak,” currently being adapted for television. It is a tightly woven novel depicting the destructive infatuation of a married writer with his divorced neighbor.

The two will be in conversation with writer and poet Ron Dahan about the representation of Tel Aviv in their works and about contemporary Hebrew writing in all its layers.
