Sacred Imagination | Moria Dayan-Kodish and Miron Izakson in Conversation

Moria Dayan-Kodish is a writer, editor, and Doctor of Hebrew Literature. Her new book, “Driving Into the Sea”(Shtayim Press), was written following a severe car accident in which she seriously injured a motorcyclist. In her writing, she grapples with the catastrophe, its implications, and the presence of death it introduced into her life.

Miron Izakson, a writer, poet, and professor of Hebrew literature, explores in his poetry familial relationships and human connections more broadly, creating a space of unease in which eros and religious faith are in tension.
