A special Harry Potter-themed Evening in Memory of Noya Dan, z”l

Thirteen-year-old Noya Dan was a passionate Harry Potter fan who loved dressing up as Hermione. Dan was murdered in the October 7 Hamas massacre along with her beloved grandmother, 80-year-old Carmela, in Kibbutz Nir Oz. J.K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter series, mourned her passing on Twitter. Galit Dan, Noya’s mother and Carmela’s daughter, will deliver the opening remarks for the evening.

A wise man named Albus Dumbledore z”l once said: “Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak!” These words still echo with us to this day, and despite the noble man's passing, we remain loyal to him. Some might say that we are Dumbledorians through and through. For precisely these reasons and more we decided to take up the challenge of putting together an evening of stand-up dedicated to all things Harry Potter. More British. More scarred. And mostly – more alive.
