Centennial Celebration of Poet Yehuda Amichai

In celebration of the 100th anniversary of Yehuda Amichai’s birth, we will hold a unique nighttime listening session featuring DJ and sound artist Tai Rona. Revolutionizing

modern Hebrew poetry, Amichai stands among Israel’s most important and beloved poets, his poetry achieving international acclaim with numerous translations and a broad readership worldwide. The musical homage Tai Rona has composed in Amichai’s honor weaves together archival recordings of the poet’s works and past interviews in both Hebrew and English, creating a special composition debuting globally at the International Writers Festival.

We dedicate this evening to the memory of the late Eric and Ruth Peretz
Eric (58) and his daughter Ruth (17), who was born with cerebral palsy and was confined to a wheelchair all her life, shared a common love - electronic music and rave parties. On October 7, they celebrated at the "Nova" festival in Ra'im, where they were brutally murdered by Hamas and later found buried together.
