The Writers Festival is proud to highlight owners of independent bookstores in Israel. Journalist Yuval Plotkin will talk with booksellers from across Israel who will share amusing, unbelievable, and one-of-a-kind anecdotes that could only happen amid the book shelves. The evening was inspired by Joseph Halper’s book, “The Bibliomaniacs” (Locus Books), and will feature bookstore owners Joseph Halper (Halper’s, Tel Aviv), Ilai Green (The Brothers Green, Tel Aviv), Ora Niv (Milta, Rehovot), and Mira Rashti (Sipur Pashut, Tel Aviv).
